NEWS: Representatives of the Faculty of Maritime Studies Kotor at the TEAMFORADRIS National event in Tivat

Representatives of the University of Montenegro – Faculty of Maritime Studies Kotor participated in the national event of the Interreg IPA ADRION TEAMFORADRIS project on February, 17^th 2026 in Tivat.

Participants were apprised of the JOINABLE project’s objectives and principal achievements over the past 18 months with specific focus on Montenegrin partners’ contribution. Particular attention was devoted to beach litter monitoring and remediation initiatives, together with marine litter indicators and the adverse ecological impacts of plastic and solid waste pollution in the marine environment. Information on upcoming activities was also showcased, aiming to invite attendees to actively engage in their implementation.

Together with representatives from the HEI, private and non-governmental sectors, the event was attended by representatives from the Municipalities of Tivat and Kotor.
