NEWS: JOINABLE Featured at the Official Session of the Punat Municipal Council – Andrinja 2025

The JOINABLE project was prominently featured at the official session of the Punat Municipal Council held in a fully attended Narodni dom. The event gathered representatives of the twinned municipalities Farocola (Italy), Kostel (Slovenia) and Tovarnik, along with leaders of all local self-government units from the island of Krk and Deputy County Prefect Robert Matić.

During his presentation, Mayor Danijel Strčić outlined major development initiatives of the Municipality of Punat, placing special emphasis on the JOINABLE project and its contribution to local innovation and community development.

Media Visibility and Community Engagement

Awards for outstanding citizens and associations for 2024 and 2025 were also presented at the ceremony. The iconic JOINABLE penguin stood beside the stage, immediately catching attention. Many award recipients were photographed with the penguin in the background — images that quickly spread through local and regional media, further increasing the visibility of the JOINABLE project.
