NEWS: JOINABLE Presented at the “Less is More” event on Krk Island
On September 6, 2025, the city of Krk hosted the “Less is More” Sustainable Living Day, bringing together local residents, partners, and visitors to promote sustainability, waste reduction, and responsible resource use.
The event was organized by the Obala naših unuka Association, Ponikve eko otok Krk, Marina Punat, Valamar, and numerous partners, aiming to showcase how collective action can drive positive change in local communities.
The program featured:
- Beach clean-up action on the island of Plavnik
- Educational workshops on smart households, sustainable fashion, packaging, gardening, and recycling
- Lectures on sustainability, as well as seed and clothing exchanges
- Presentations by local eco-producers and creative artisans
- Zero waste lunch and community gathering
At the event, SENSUM represented the JOINABLE project, highlighting the importance of international cooperation and joint efforts in protecting the environment and promoting sustainable practices.
The message of the day was clear: Less is More – small steps taken today can have a big impact on future generations.
