NEWS: Third Partner Meeting of the JOINABLE Project held in Albania

The third partner meeting of the JOINABLE project took place in Albania, hosted by ETMI in Tirana and the Municipality of Divjake, who warmly welcomed us at their premises.

The first working day in Tirana focused on reviewing the first project report, sharing best practices on what to do and what to avoid, as well as expectations for the second project report. The agenda then moved on to upcoming activities, particularly monitoring and clean-up actions planned for September and October. A detailed review of partners’ budgets was also carried out.

On the second day, we visited the Municipality of Divjake, where we met with the Mayor, the project team, and local stakeholders. We learned more about the municipality, discussed the positive impacts of the project on the local community, and shortly toured Divjakë-Karavasta National Park as well as key beach locations where clean-up and monitoring activities will take place.

This meeting further strengthened the collaboration among partners and set the stage for the successful implementation of the upcoming project activities.
